Christian Ramaker has been the principal at SOAR Academy since July 2015. From 2012 to June 2015 Ramaker served as an assistant principal in Jefferson County Public Schools. He is a former science and social studies teacher. Ramaker served on Jefferson County Public Schools's Strategic Planning and Advisory Council.

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management in 1999 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching in 2005 from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.
